Hebrew High School is in its fifth year at Temple Beth El. Offered to eighth through twelfth graders, the program seeks to help students engage in continued formation of their own Jewish identities while exploring subjects of interest to them.
Held from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoons, all students begin their class time with an all-school t’filah with the younger students, followed by lunch. Then, the study begins. Each grade level participates in a set course of study appropriate to their grade level, and, in addition, they work together on communal service projects and take mini-electives throughout the year.
