100 Ways to Help Make Shabbat Holy

  1. Reconnect with an old friend.
  2. Walk, don't drive, whenever possible.
  3. Make Shabbat a day to truly listen to your children.
  4. Take a long hot bath or shower before Shabbat.
  5. Take the time to "dress-up" for Shabbat.
  6. Have the house especially clean for Shabbat.
  7. Abstain from sports.
  8. Don't use kitchen paper products on Shabbat.
  9. Start to think about Shabbat on Wednesday or Thursday.
  10. Make special food for Shabbat.
  11. But special food for Shabbat.
  12. Use different dishes for Shabbat.
  13. But flowers for Shabbat.
  14. Make challah for Shabbat.
  15. Buy challah for Shabbat.
  16. Have two challot on Erev Shabbat table.
